Fitness oprema iz kineske proizvodnje

Fitness equipment from China, weight, load rating and warranty

Fitness equipment from China for a gym, club or distributor does not stop at a website machine price. Frame, pad, bearing and instructions must match the approved piece, because a claim after sea is months late. Xiamen and other southern clusters have capacity for a lot and for make from a drawing (OEM). Papillon measures weight and volume before the deposit, picks LCL or FCL and does not release loading until quality control (QC) and the parts list are closed.

Who this import is for

For a gym, club or distributor filling a warehouse and selling a machine on: benches, racks, plates, bands, strength machines. The goal is a repeatable lot, a clear load rating and landed cost per piece that fits the floor or retail.

A whole-gym project, with a machine layout and an opening date, is not the same order as stock of one model. Layout and install you define, or a local team. Papillon runs sourcing, inspection and import to the warehouse. We do not promise gym install.

A ready line model arrives faster than a machine from a drawing. If the opening date cannot take tooling, narrow the programme to models already in the plant. OEM stays for what the line does not have: another size, another pad, your logo on the frame.

Where it is made, and what a showroom does not prove

Xiamen and nearby southern clusters cover a large share of strength and cardio. Another city enters when the category is not there: small accessories can come from Yiwu, console electronics from Shenzhen. Do not mix those buys in one purchase order only because they go in the same container.

An Alibaba account with a nice picture can still be a trader. A trader is not automatically a problem. The problem is an account that will not let you see weld, tube thickness and bearing, and will not put load rating in the purchase order. Papillon goes to the plant: who welds the frame, who sews the pad, whether the cover is the one on the sample.

The shortlist for a standard programme is two to three factories. Comparison is on the same piece: tube, weld, bearing, pad, packing, MOQ and lead time. The lowest FOB without those lines is not an offer.

What must be written before the deposit

A purchase order for a machine is not black model, 40 pieces. Without a spec the factory sends what is on the line that week. The buyer sees that when the container arrives, and then the frame is already welded.

Piece
name, working size, packed size, weight
Frame
tube profile, thickness, weld, colour, rust protection
Load rating
working and maximum, how it was tested
Pad and bearing
density, stitch, bearing type, sample code
Parts
list, marks, spare set and who sends it
Terms
Incoterms, who pays freight to the port, who holds breakage risk

The sample is assembled, then approved in writing

The sample goes before the lot. Approval is written, with a photo, a measure sheet and a short assembly note, not a message that it is fine in chat. Play, squeak, bolt, whether parts match marks on the instructions and whether the frame holds the agreed load on the agreed test are checked.

If the sample arrives assembled and the lot in parts, check that bolts, washers and pins are from the same lot as the instructions. One missing bracket, and a whole machine sits in the warehouse. That is counted in China, not at home.

A tool for a non-standard part, engraving or mould is a separate line, with tool ownership in the purchase order. The lot does not start until that piece is approved. A logo on the frame that is not on the sample is not a small thing. That is another paint lot and another stencil.

Weight decides the container

Fitness equipment often hits the weight limit before it fills volume. The same bench with a low FOB eats margin if it goes LCL, because heavy goods are handled more and a pallet corner breaks more often. CBM is measured on the packed sample. Kilos are confirmed with the forwarder before booking, not from a picture.

A trial piece sometimes goes LCL or air. As soon as machine count and weight near a full container, FCL usually gives a lower unit price and fewer handlings. We calculate both before the purchase order. The CBM container calculator helps for cubes. It does not replace the weight limit.

The load plan is part of inspection. Heavy frames go below. Chrome and sliding bars do not go without protection. If you join machines with lighter goods, that is cargo consolidation from China with a stacking rule, not everything in one container because it looks cheaper on paper. More on modes is on shipping from China to Serbia.

Inspection, warranty and spare parts

Pre-loading inspection opens crates, counts parts against the packing list, looks at weld, colour, pad and whether instructions follow marks. Shipment waits for an approved report. On sourcing execution above 2,000 USD independent quality control is standard. Below that threshold scope is agreed, but a machine without a parts-list check is still not a wise exception.

Warranty on the frame and warranty on a wear part are not the same sentence. The purchase order states who sends a spare bearing, cable or pad, who pays claim freight and how long the obligation lasts. An oral warranty in chat is not a warranty. A spare set that is not in the container arrives as a new shipment, with a new date and a new cost.

Packing sits in the purchase order: board or crate where the frame needs it, film, protection of chrome parts, orientation mark. A standard carton on cast-iron plates is not a spec. A corner break at sea is not repaired on the gym floor.

Duty, timeline and what goes in the brief

HS of the machine must be correct before shipment. Duty depends on it. The Serbia China FTA, in force from 1 July 2024, can lower the rate only with a correct COO. COO is requested from the export chain before loading. The sheet uses two scenarios: with preference and without it. Zero duty is not a category promise.

Landed cost per piece adds goods, freight, local costs, duty, VAT and packing. That number, not FOB from a catalogue, says whether import pays. Floor install, if you engage it locally, goes separately. VAT is not a saving.

Research and shortlist usually take 1–3 weeks. Sample and spec alignment another 2–5. Make of a standard programme often falls in 4–10 weeks, then sea about 35–52 days. A machine from a drawing and a tool add time before the lot. Air shortens sample freight. It does not shorten a factory that does not have tube.

Put in the brief models or photos, target quantity, load rating you sell, target price, warehouse date and whether the programme is for stock or a gym opening. The answer is a factory proposal, a weight plan and a landed-cost outline per piece.

Često postavljana pitanja

For strength and cardio we often start from Xiamen and southern clusters. Small accessories can come from another city. Console electronics are not the same plant as the frame. We do not mix them in one spec.

A trial piece sometimes goes LCL. As soon as weight and machine count near a full container, FCL usually gives a lower unit price and fewer handlings. We calculate both before the purchase order.

We run sourcing, inspection and import to the warehouse when that is in the agreed scope. Floor layout and install are your team or a local contractor. Instructions and part marks must follow the crate.

Inspection in China counts parts against the packing list before the seal. The spare set and who sends it sit in the purchase order before the deposit. A part that is not in the contract arrives as a new shipment.

Not automatically. The Serbia China FTA holds from 1 July 2024, but the rate depends on HS and a certificate of origin. Without that paper standard duty stays. The sheet uses two scenarios.

Shortlist 1–3 weeks, sample another 2–5, make often 4–10 weeks, sea about 35–52 days. A machine from a drawing adds time before the lot. The exact date goes in the quote after the brief.
