What a serious sourcing process includes

Start with a brief: specification, target price, quantity, packing, certificates and date. Then research: platforms, fairs, clusters.

A shortlist of 3–5 then goes through RFQ, comparison and verification. A factory visit or a documented audit is the filter.

MOQ, samples and talks on site

MOQ is often negotiable with a repeat plan. A team on the ground can agree a trial run against a follow-up order.

Samples are approved before mass production. Label, pack and colour changes belong in the purchase order.

Europe-ready briefs

Put CE, RoHS or other market marks in the first RFQ when they apply. Do not discover them at customs.
